Điều này cũng không có gì khó hiểu bởi vì trong các kì CES trước đây Sony và Sony Ericsson đều đứng chung trong 1 gian hàng, thậm chí các điện thoại mới của SE còn được các vị lãnh đạo cao cấp nhất của Sony chính thức giới thiệu. Như vậy là chúng ta có thể yên tâm rằng sẽ có ít nhất 1 điện thoại Xperia mới xuất hiện tại CES 2012 và cái tên có nhiều khả năng nhất vẫn là Nozomi (LT26i).
